Session Four - Fairy Tales
[2023/11/23 15:13] Sonja Bikergrrl: /me cracks open NCs and reads notes
[2023/11/23 15:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: GGGGGggggrrrrreeeetings, Adventurers, some players get epic and carefully crafted plot hooks, you get shady characters in the village inn.
[2023/11/23 15:15] Sonja Bikergrrl: as I recall it, it's late at night, Boddyknock has come to find you, and mentioned you got a guy looking for you.
[2023/11/23 15:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: so... over to you!
[2023/11/23 15:16] Alicia Frakture: What does this person look like?
[2023/11/23 15:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: Boddyknock shrugs. "Tall?"
[2023/11/23 15:17] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "...did they give a name?"
[2023/11/23 15:18] Sonja Bikergrrl: Boddyknock shrugs again. "...no? Just that they were looking for you two."
[2023/11/23 15:19] Alicia Frakture: Well let's go check this out.
[2023/11/23 15:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: There is indeed a fella in leather outside the inn, kicking a stone about. He sees you approach. "Debben and Leesha?"
[2023/11/23 15:20] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Anyone we recognize?
[2023/11/23 15:21] Sonja Bikergrrl: Nope
[2023/11/23 15:21] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me keeps doing her best to keep up flying as fast as she can and paying attention
[2023/11/23 15:22] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana and Boddyknock follow, but, it's clear they have no part other than as spectators, so to speak
[2023/11/23 15:22] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Oh right, there are witnesses right now, only a crazy person would be trying to kill them at the moment.
[2023/11/23 15:23] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: For whatever that's worth, given the previous ones....
[2023/11/23 15:23] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me checks to see who has a hat or a coat I can land on :)
[2023/11/23 15:23] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Hello." A somewhat dubious sounding Debben inquires of the approaching, leathery figure
[2023/11/23 15:23] Alicia Frakture: Leesha keeps her mouth shut
[2023/11/23 15:24] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): stays quiet and flits about near Leesha
[2023/11/23 15:24] Sonja Bikergrrl: "You've been hard to find! I got a message." He reaches into his jacket, and gropes about. "I'm sure it's here..."
[2023/11/23 15:25] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben steps slightly to the side, watching his hand in case some sort of weapon comes out.
[2023/11/23 15:25] Alicia Frakture: Leesha does the same
[2023/11/23 15:25] Sonja Bikergrrl: He fishes out a slightly flattened scroll, and looks at you curiously, then holds it out.
[2023/11/23 15:25] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): follows the others flying at shoulder level watching
[2023/11/23 15:27] Alicia Frakture: Leesha moves forward to take the scroll
[2023/11/23 15:27] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me flies up a bit higher to get a better look at the scroll
[2023/11/23 15:28] Sonja Bikergrrl: It looks like a slightly battered scroll. Debben is the one who can read and write
[2023/11/23 15:28] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me speaks to Leesha and Debben, "what kind of scroll?"
[2023/11/23 15:28] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Oh, it actually is a message." She relaxes a bit, confirming that it doesn't immediately explode when Leesha picks it up, before attempting to read the message.
[2023/11/23 15:28] Sonja Bikergrrl: (A plain parchment scroll.)
[2023/11/23 15:28] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Incidentally, what -does- this guy look like now that we can see him ourselves?
[2023/11/23 15:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: The message is actually fairly long, and written in a neat hand, with flourishes on some of the letters.
[2023/11/23 15:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Greetings, Debben and Leesha. You are being attacked regularly by desperate people eager to win a bounty on your head. I may be able to help you. I am a collector of various relics, and a public-spirited citizen prepared to destroy certain dangerous artefacts. I cannot adventure or quest to find them myself, but I can direct you. I can also point you in the direction of special treaures that would be of benefit or profit to you, so it is a mutually beneficial arrangement for us both. I'm sure you are busy with some matter right now, there is no time limit on my offer, please come to my house on Old Providence Street in Britannia. Just let the messenger I sent know if you will come see me - I trust you didn't hurt him - his return message is pre-paid. My kindest regards, Joshua Wellmeat."
[2023/11/23 15:30] Sonja Bikergrrl: Like any other guy; nothing particular stands out. Normal size, short dark hair, blue eyes, slight beard.
[2023/11/23 15:31] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me she looked at Debben then Leesha, then spoke ,"A bounty, that sounds bad. I hope we can get it lifted, your both too nice to have a thing like that looming."
[2023/11/23 15:31] Alicia Frakture: Been on us since the start
[2023/11/23 15:31] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me she spoke a little softer, "can i ride on one of your shoulders? this flying gets hard sometimes."
[2023/11/23 15:32] Alicia Frakture: Yeah, hop on mine
[2023/11/23 15:32] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana: Y... oh.
[2023/11/23 15:33] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me smiled and hopped there quickly
[2023/11/23 15:34] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "...wellmeat. Hmmmm." She nods to Dhalia, having thought she's previously given permission, then back to the messenger. "You know this Joshua? He seems to be oddly familiar with us but I don't know of him."
[2023/11/23 15:34] Sonja Bikergrrl: The guy shrugs. "Some old guy, must be rich. Has a big house in the old city."
[2023/11/23 15:37] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: ( how far away is Brittania? ))
[2023/11/23 15:37] Sonja Bikergrrl: (About two days, if you go direct.)
[2023/11/23 15:38] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Boddyknock, you have any business over in Brittania?" She inquires, trying to remember the previous arrangement.
[2023/11/23 15:38] Sonja Bikergrrl: (The caravan however is going in a slightly different direction, and you might want to follow that first, then head that way.)
[2023/11/23 15:39] Sonja Bikergrrl: Boddyknock: "Nope, not really. Got a big delivery to make out at a village a bit further East, Britainnia is down South, though. Once I'm done with that, I got nothing doing."
[2023/11/23 15:39] Alicia Frakture: Well let's do the caravan and then we can see about this Brittania thing.
[2023/11/23 15:40] Sonja Bikergrrl: Boddyknock: "Great! You know my cart. I'll meet you there in the morning."
[2023/11/23 15:40] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: She nods. "Sounds like a reasonable plan. Sort out the matters we'd previously agreed to before speaking with this Mister Wellmeat."
[2023/11/23 15:40] Sonja Bikergrrl: Messenger: "Any return message?"
[2023/11/23 15:42] Alicia Frakture: Leesha looks to Debben who read the message.
[2023/11/23 15:42] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Yes," she pulls out some paper to scribe one back. 'We have previous business in a village East, but once that matter is handled we intend to come through Britannia. If you have not heard from us in " she pauses, estimating, "more than a fortnight, something has intercepted us."
[2023/11/23 15:43] Sonja Bikergrrl: The messenger takes the note and tucks it in his jacket. "Thank you! I'll get that back to him soon as I can." (Exits stage left)
[2023/11/23 15:44] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me listens and watches the interaction
[2023/11/23 15:44] Sonja Bikergrrl: (shall we "fast forward" to morning?)
[2023/11/23 15:44] Alicia Frakture: nods
[2023/11/23 15:45] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: (( Sounds good ))
[2023/11/23 15:46] Sonja Bikergrrl: The sun rises and you're back at Boddyknocks' cart. It's loaded with a number of rather sturdy looking pipes, with strings at the ends, some kegs, a few planks, rope, and an ornate padded chair.
[2023/11/23 15:46] Sonja Bikergrrl: Boddyknock: "It's good to see you, we're about to head off!"
[2023/11/23 15:47] Sonja Bikergrrl: And, round about now... Dina sees a translucent dog sitting watching her, their head slightly to one side in concentration.
[2023/11/23 15:48] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me looks at the dog wondering if it is the same one she saw before
[2023/11/23 15:48] Sonja Bikergrrl: It's the same dog. No one else seems to have noticed it.
[2023/11/23 15:49] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Good to see you too, Boddyknock." She glances over the pipes with strings on the end curiously, but heads up onto the wagon
[2023/11/23 15:49] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me looks at the dog and smiles , motioning for it to come closer
[2023/11/23 15:49] Sonja Bikergrrl: Boddyknock helps you up. "Oh! None of you are smokers, right?"
[2023/11/23 15:49] Sonja Bikergrrl: The dog stands, gives a silent bark, then walks along the road, and stops to look back at Dina
[2023/11/23 15:50] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "I'm not. Knew a guy who threw exploding clay pots once though."
[2023/11/23 15:50] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me throws a bit of food its way and sees how it reacts
[2023/11/23 15:51] Sonja Bikergrrl: Boddyknock: "Good, good.... there's a lot of blasting powder on board. We'll be travelling just behind the rest, just in case."
[2023/11/23 15:51] Sonja Bikergrrl: The food sails past the dog. Other than looking at it and flicking it's ears, the dog ignores it. He gives another silent bark, and takes a few steps along the road, and fades from view.
[2023/11/23 15:52] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Who's the buyer for blasting powder?" she asks, looking at the cargo thoughtfully.
[2023/11/23 15:52] Sonja Bikergrrl: Boddyknock helps Katana up, the cart creaking under the weight of Leesha and, especially, Katana. "A rich guy, Mr Wu."
[2023/11/23 15:53] Alicia Frakture: Leesha shakes her head."I can walk alongside." She says."Or are we wanting to race there?"
[2023/11/23 15:54] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me "that wierd dog was back again , i know noone can see it , its invisible and wierd..."
[2023/11/23 15:54] Sonja Bikergrrl: Boddyknock takes up the reins, and goes on: "He wants to meet his ancestors, and I figured, if enough rockets are used - you know, the fireworks that some villages like - and if they are big enough, well, the should lift a person up to the sky, shouldn't they."
[2023/11/23 15:54] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "How's he plan to get back down again?"
[2023/11/23 15:55] Sonja Bikergrrl: Boddyknock shrugs. "He never specified. Maybe his ancestors will help? Don't they get special powers or something?"
[2023/11/23 15:57] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "I guess that's on him. Or whatever poor sap he's paid to try it first."
[2023/11/23 15:57] Alicia Frakture: Maybe he's not planning to get down.
[2023/11/23 15:58] Sonja Bikergrrl: Boddyknock: "Not my problem. He asked for a means to reach his ancestors, I got the means to do that. After that, well, that costs extra."
[2023/11/23 15:59] Alicia Frakture: Then let's get going and Dahia let us know if that dog follows us.
[2023/11/23 15:59] Sonja Bikergrrl: The cart rattles after the caravan at a safe distance. Safe for them, of course... and Katana glances at Dahlia. "What was that about what dog?"
[2023/11/23 16:00] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me she nodded, "I will make sure to tell you if it appears again , its a wierd invisible dog."
[2023/11/23 16:00] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana frowns, as does Boddyknock. He asks: "How can you see it, if it's invisible...?"
[2023/11/23 16:01] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Special eyes, usually."
[2023/11/23 16:01] Alicia Frakture: Maybe it's a fairy thing. Truth be told with teh stuff we have seen I have no reason to doubt.
[2023/11/23 16:01] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me "I'm not sure maybe its because im small ? or maybe it wants me to see it ?"
[2023/11/23 16:01] Sonja Bikergrrl: Boddyknock: "Huh. I guess." The time passes as the cart rattles on.
[2023/11/23 16:02] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Mr Wu slated to buy all of this, or you have some extra?"
[2023/11/23 16:02] Sonja Bikergrrl: The sun is getting high in the sky when Dahlia notices the dog loping beside the cart. It glances up to Dahlia, and continues to trot along - through a treetrunk, at one point
[2023/11/23 16:03] Sonja Bikergrrl: Boddyknock: "All of it, I carefully measured and calculated and mixed it and got the materials myself."
[2023/11/23 16:03] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me speaks up excitedly, "That dog is back!", she points to it beside the cart
[2023/11/23 16:04] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana: "What dog...?"
[2023/11/23 16:04] Sonja Bikergrrl: Boddyknock: "...you seeing things...?"
[2023/11/23 16:04] Alicia Frakture: Leesha looks where Dahlia is pointing
[2023/11/23 16:05] Sonja Bikergrrl: There's not much there. Grass, a clump of flowers... a few bushes, a spindly tree...
[2023/11/23 16:06] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: dirt roads here?
[2023/11/23 16:06] Alicia Frakture: Leesha doesn't see anything."Maybe it's a ghost dog or something."
[2023/11/23 16:06] Sonja Bikergrrl: You're on the dirt road.
[2023/11/23 16:06] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me sticks her tongue out playfully at the dog and casts Invisibility to Animals so her companions can still see her but animals cant
[2023/11/23 16:08] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dahlia casts the spell, but the dog keeps glancing at her now and again, before suddenly stopping and giving another silent bark before disappearing.
[2023/11/23 16:09] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "I'm not too worried about a pixie seeing pixie things. That dog doing anything interesting?"
[2023/11/23 16:09] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana: "A ghost dog? You think the road is haunted?"
[2023/11/23 16:09] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me "It barked and disappeared again , it doesnt seem to like food either"
[2023/11/23 16:10] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Maybe it was very loyal to someone."
[2023/11/23 16:10] Alicia Frakture: Leesha shakes her head."Nah, I doubt it is haunted, there might be more than the dog if it were.
[2023/11/23 16:10] Sonja Bikergrrl: Boddyknock lets the cart come to a halt. "Whoever heard of a ghost dog?"
[2023/11/23 16:10] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me "there are wierder things than ghostly dogs about , but that one is pretty odd and keeps following"
[2023/11/23 16:11] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Would a cat be less weird?"
[2023/11/23 16:11] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana: "That much is certainly true."
[2023/11/23 16:11] Sonja Bikergrrl: It's about now, that you become aware of shouts and yells up ahead. The caravan is under attack!
[2023/11/23 16:12] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me "a cat would be great "
[2023/11/23 16:12] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben stands up, looking ahead to what sort of attack is happening!
[2023/11/23 16:12] Alicia Frakture: "Dahlia, hop off the shoulder."AS Leesha draws her wrench.
[2023/11/23 16:13] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me nods and hops off to fly again
[2023/11/23 16:13] Sonja Bikergrrl: It looks like a bunch of goblins, and some bigger, meaner looking creatures that look like goblins but taller. Katana jumps down off the cart. "Brigands! We must go to their aid!"
[2023/11/23 16:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: Boddyknock: "I'm.... going to stay here."
[2023/11/23 16:15] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Well, Boddy. If you decide that a few of those explosives would be effective against brigands, give a shout so we know to duck, hear?"
[2023/11/23 16:15] Alicia Frakture: Once Dahlia flies off, Leesha moves towards the attack."I.. am not."
[2023/11/23 16:15] Sonja Bikergrrl: Boddyknock splutters in indignation. "These are for Mr Wu! I measured it exactly!"
[2023/11/23 16:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: The goblins and what you can see are hobgoblins are busy menacing the caravan, but since the travellers aren't dismounting to fight, not much is actually happening.
[2023/11/23 16:18] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Looks like they're sputtering and demanding a toll so far."
[2023/11/23 16:18] Alicia Frakture: Leesha moves closer
[2023/11/23 16:19] Sonja Bikergrrl: There's sudden shouts and yells from behind, and you hear Boddyknock scream out: "Aaah! They got me!" At about the same time, the ones harassing the caravan charge right for you!
[2023/11/23 16:19] Sonja Bikergrrl: time to roll initiative and state actions!
[2023/11/23 16:20] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: d12, ye?
[2023/11/23 16:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: yep
[2023/11/23 16:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: you go first... actions?
[2023/11/23 16:21] Alicia Frakture: *How far did Leesha get?*
[2023/11/23 16:22] Sonja Bikergrrl: About quarter way or so - say 30'
[2023/11/23 16:22] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: So Debben is still on the wagon since she didn't get off. There's a group of brigands both in front and behind of us? How many in each group?
[2023/11/23 16:22] Alicia Frakture: Leesha charges the goblins in front of her."You three take care of Boddyknock, then come help."
[2023/11/23 16:22] Sonja Bikergrrl: 2x (2 hobgoblins, 4 goblins)
[2023/11/23 16:24] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is aiming for one of the hobgoblins, swinging her wrench at them.
[2023/11/23 16:24] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me flies over towards where BoddyKnock is
[2023/11/23 16:24] Sonja Bikergrrl: so.... 1 group at the cart... Leesha, Katana in the middle... other group coming fast
[2023/11/23 16:25] Sonja Bikergrrl: d20 to attack... Leesha? And, what is Dahlia planning on doing?
[2023/11/23 16:25] Sonja Bikergrrl: and what'd Debben doing
[2023/11/23 16:25] Sonja Bikergrrl: Leesha swings and misses.
[2023/11/23 16:25] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben groans and turns around to help out Boddyknock, spear coming loose and getting ready to counter stab whoever 'got' Boddy
[2023/11/23 16:26] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana glares at the ones in front, then looks back. "Oh.... fuck!" Takes a swing... and misses
[2023/11/23 16:26] Sonja Bikergrrl: d20 Debben
[2023/11/23 16:27] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): was flying to Boddyknock to check his injuries as soon as I can reach him
[2023/11/23 16:27] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dahlia flies over to see a hobgoblin has grabbed him and is dragging him off the cart
[2023/11/23 16:28] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: dunno if an 8 is enough
[2023/11/23 16:28] Sonja Bikergrrl: A jab and a miss from Debben!
[2023/11/23 16:29] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me stays out of the reach of the hobgoblin and uses her sling to throw a rock covered in pixie dust at it's head
[2023/11/23 16:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: The hobgoblin hauls Boddyknock away from the cart, the other hobgoblin grunts and growls at the goblins who form a defensive line. The other group hang back; they don't seem particularly inclined to fight
[2023/11/23 16:29] Sonja Bikergrrl: d20, Dahlia
[2023/11/23 16:30] Sonja Bikergrrl: goodness... none of us can hit a barn door.
[2023/11/23 16:30] Sonja Bikergrrl: What now?
[2023/11/23 16:30] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is going to try to use the momentum of the miss to swing around and try to hit again
[2023/11/23 16:30] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben, Dahlia?
[2023/11/23 16:31] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: ...
[2023/11/23 16:32] Sonja Bikergrrl: A nat 20 more than hits. d6!
[2023/11/23 16:34] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Let him go," Debben announces, before flipping her speartip to point at the hobgoblin, "Or I'll stop your hearts in your chest," Her other hand channels just enough magic to give the impression of glittering sparks before preparing to cast her actual spell.
[2023/11/23 16:34] Sonja Bikergrrl: That's one very badly injured hobgoblin... the critical stroke also hits low, fracturing the creatures' foot. He screams and jumps up and down... well, hops up and down.
[2023/11/23 16:35] Sonja Bikergrrl: The hobgoblin dragging off Boddyknock yanks him into some bushes. and growls at the other hobgoblin who snarls at the goblins. While he stays back, they attack Leesha.
[2023/11/23 16:35] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dahlia?
[2023/11/23 16:36] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana looks to the group in front, and the one abducting Boddyknock, and charges for them, swinging her sword and shouting loudly: "GORDELPUS!"
[2023/11/23 16:37] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): throws another stone at the hobgoblin doing the dragging keeping distance still
[2023/11/23 16:37] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana swipes at a goblin and sends it flying, dead.
[2023/11/23 16:37] Sonja Bikergrrl: d20, Dahlia
[2023/11/23 16:37] Sonja Bikergrrl: Oooh. So close! The stone -narrowly- misses.
[2023/11/23 16:38] Sonja Bikergrrl: Two goblins attack Debben, one attacks Katana.
[2023/11/23 16:38] Sonja Bikergrrl: They hack at Debben and Katana with crude axes, but miss wildly.
[2023/11/23 16:39] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: is the Hob hauling Boddy still visible to me?
[2023/11/23 16:39] Sonja Bikergrrl: (yes, we had a first crit on the injuries table - well done Leesha)
[2023/11/23 16:39] Sonja Bikergrrl: nope, dragged behind bushes and the other hobgoblin is backing away after
[2023/11/23 16:40] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is going to tackle the hobgoblin she injured trying to slam one into the other at the front.
[2023/11/23 16:40] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: She casts *Sleep* on the hobgoblin backing away and assigns that
[5] from her ritual to his save attempt.
[2023/11/23 16:41] Sonja Bikergrrl: okay... Dahlia
[2023/11/23 16:41] Sonja Bikergrrl: Nice play, Debben
[2023/11/23 16:41] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): doesnt throw another stone instead readies to cast a heal if needed
[2023/11/23 16:42] Sonja Bikergrrl: d20 Leesha
[2023/11/23 16:42] Alicia Frakture: *With the plus 2 = 15*
[2023/11/23 16:42] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana swipes at another goblin. "GORDELPUS!" Another solid hit that flings a dead goblin aside, spraying blood far and wide.
[2023/11/23 16:43] Sonja Bikergrrl: The shove sends the injured hobgoblin into the other. They go down in a confusion of arms, legs and curses
[2023/11/23 16:44] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: current battle state?
[2023/11/23 16:44] Sonja Bikergrrl: Leeshas' spell sends the hobgoblin and the last two goblins slumping down lifelessly, snoring loudly. You hear Boddyknock shouting, but from far away.
[2023/11/23 16:45] Sonja Bikergrrl: The four goblins that are "in front" with Leesha scatter now.
[2023/11/23 16:46] Sonja Bikergrrl: Battle state: Two downed hobgoblins, one injured. One sleeping hobgoblin, two sleeping goblins. One missing Boddyknock, somewhere in the bushes far away. Four fleeing goblins
[2023/11/23 16:47] Alicia Frakture: Leesha goes to grab the hobgoblins on the ground." You two are gonna tell me where you took our friend." *Figure since they are down, they would be prone*
[2023/11/23 16:47] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Is the "injured" hobgoblin still fighting or attempting run?
[2023/11/23 16:47] Sonja Bikergrrl: The hobgoblins spit at you. "Pah! Stue will get you!"
[2023/11/23 16:48] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana: "These are evil creatures! They should be put to the sword!"
[2023/11/23 16:48] Alicia Frakture: Leesha steps on the injured leg, putting pressure on it."Try again."
[2023/11/23 16:49] Sonja Bikergrrl: The hobgoblin flails and curses loudly, screaming suggestions about your parentage and intelligence. The other hobgoblin growls and gets up. "Silly orc, instead of join us, you die!"
[2023/11/23 16:50] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben hops down from the wagon, scanning the weapons the hobgoblins have for anything worth grabbing on the go, and then aiming her spear point into the neck of the sleeping hob before all the screaming wakes them up.
[2023/11/23 16:51] Sonja Bikergrrl: The magical sleep will last, until they're physically shaken.
[2023/11/23 16:51] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me flies around examining the sleeping ones and making sure not wake any
[2023/11/23 16:51] Sonja Bikergrrl: Last round of actions, everyone.
[2023/11/23 16:52] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is going to try for a shot to the junk on the standing hobgoblin, keeping her weight on the injured leg"Go follow them!"
[2023/11/23 16:53] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana isn't going to let the uninjured hobgoblin rise unopposed; her sword flashes and there's a spray of blood, the hobgoblin is seriously injured.
[2023/11/23 16:53] Sonja Bikergrrl: ...a shot with what...?
[2023/11/23 16:53] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Katana! They're trying to kidnap boddy! come on, we'll get him back." She starts into a jog, mentally cursing the chain of event that has her, a mage, having to chase people and stab all the time.
[2023/11/23 16:53] Alicia Frakture: Bare handed
[2023/11/23 16:54] Sonja Bikergrrl: Hit, d4
[2023/11/23 16:55] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): /me follows to help get boddy back
[2023/11/23 16:55] Sonja Bikergrrl: That's to roll a d4, Leesha
[2023/11/23 16:56] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana: "Debben! Don't rush off in haste! Wait!"
[2023/11/23 16:56] Alicia Frakture: *Rolled a 3*
[2023/11/23 16:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: That's one hobgoblin that won't be having anything to do for the next few days. Down he goes, screaming and writhing, while the hobgoblin under you writhes and screams, cursing and spitting
[2023/11/23 16:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: And on that cliffhanger.... ^ ^
[2023/11/23 16:57] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: until next time, when we all get to ask....
[2023/11/23 16:58] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Where's the Boddy?"
[2023/11/23 16:58] Sonja Bikergrrl: and that's when a dozen ancient red dragons swoop in to attack :P
[2023/11/23 16:58] Alicia Frakture: *Nice cliffhanger*
[2023/11/23 16:59] Sonja Bikergrrl: 1am again... ffs...!
